Office Hours
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time, excluding observed holidays.
Learning platform course content is accessible 24/7.
Scheduled Vacation Periods
No additional vacation periods are scheduled beyond the holiday observances listed above.
Asynchronous Online Class Schedule
Courses are delivered online and asynchronously. No required in-person attendance.
Students are expected to complete required academically related course activities by their published deadlines and maintain regular participation throughout the course.
A typical full-time academic load is 35–40 hours per week, including instructional activities, assignments, preparation, projects, assessments, and other academically related work.
Missed weekly participation is addressed under the attendance policy.
Instructor support: weekly virtual office hours are available; additional appointments may be offered.
Identity verification events (if required): identity-verified assessments and/or brief oral-defense checks may be scheduled with advance notice when required by a course integrity policy.
Course Time Hours
For distance education, course time hours are represented by documented instructional activity and academically related participation in the learning platform, including viewing assigned instructional material, completing practice activities, completing graded assignments/quizzes/exams, participating in required academic interactions, and completing verified lab work where applicable.
Course credit is reported in semester credit hours (SCH). One SCH equals 15 instructional/contact hours. The participation and workload statements above are the class schedule for online delivery.
