FERPA Annual Notice
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) notice for Education Redefined Inc. students.
Effective January 1, 2027 · Last updated September 11, 2026
Your Rights Under FERPA
FERPA affords eligible students certain rights with respect to their education records, including the right to inspect and review records, request amendment of inaccurate records, and control disclosure of personally identifiable information except to the extent FERPA authorizes disclosure without consent.
Directory Information
Directory information may include name, program, dates of attendance, degrees awarded, and honors. Students may opt out of directory disclosures by submitting a written request to the Registrar.
Disclosure Without Consent
The university may disclose education records without consent to school officials with legitimate educational interests, to other schools where a student seeks enrollment, to authorized auditors, in connection with financial aid, to comply with judicial orders, and as otherwise permitted by FERPA.
Third-Party Service Providers
The university may use contracted third-party service providers to deliver online services. These providers process education records on our behalf under agreements consistent with FERPA.
AI features require student consent before education records are sent to external providers, unless another FERPA exception applies.
Complaints
Students who believe their FERPA rights have been violated may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education Family Policy Compliance Office.
